Our Special Heroes Programme is designed to help children build confidence, communication, and motor skills in a nurturing, structured setting. Through specialised piano lessons and ABA therapy, we support each child’s growth in a joyful and accessible way

🎹 Special Needs Piano Lessons
Tailored 1-on-1 piano instruction that blends early intervention techniques with music learning.

  • Task breakdown and step-by-step modelling

  • Repetition and routine for retention

🚗 Transport charges may apply for home visits beyond 15km radius
 

🏡 1-on-1 Home-Based ABA Therapy
Individualised therapy sessions focusing on communication, behaviour, social skills, and functional goals.

Using ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis) techniques, we address:
 

  • Behaviour shaping & reinforcement

  • Functional communication (PECS, visuals, speech)

  • Fine and gross motor skills

  • Life skills in familiar home settings

  • Visual schedules & structured routines

  • Custom IEP with monthly progress reports

🏠 Format: Home-based only

Our Young Musician Development Programme

Programme Overview

​

The Little Strummers Young Musicians Development Programme is a structured instrument discovery journey for students who want to explore music before choosing one instrument to specialise in.

For Ages 8 +

​

Students will learn the fundamentals of:
🎹 Piano • 🎸 Guitar • 🥁 Drums • 🎤 Vocals

​

Each instrument is taught in one-on-one sessions with a specialist teacher, giving students focused guidance and steady progress. After exploring each instrument, students will come together toward the end of the programme to rehearse and prepare for a band performance.

​

By the end of the journey, both teacher and student will identify the instrument the student is most excited to pursue next.

Our Special Needs Educator

Sarah Devaratnam is a passionate and highly experienced educator with over a decade of working with children, particularly those on the autism spectrum and with developmental needs. With a strong background in Behaviour Management, Child Psychology, and an Advanced Diploma in Special Education, she brings a thoughtful, individualised approach to every lesson.
 

But what truly sets Sarah apart is her ability to blend early intervention strategies with the joy of music.

Through 1-on-1 piano lessons and structured music-based activities, she helps children grow in focus, coordination, communication, and emotional regulation, all while having fun.
